Experienced medical sonographer performing ultrasound in a variety of settings. I was directly exposed to the various cases of obstetrics & gynaecology ultrasound as well as general ultrasound including some invasive procedures. Most noteworthily, my skills go beyond clinical knowledge and technical ability as I have learnt a great deal of communication skills while interacting with diverse patients’ background. .
PROFIL & LATAR BELAKANG
Saya berpengalaman lebih 12 tahun dalam bidang ultrasound pelbagai pengkhususan. Saya secara langsung terdedah kepada pelbagai kes ultrasound obstetrik & ginekologi serta ultrasound umum termasuk beberapa prosedur invasif.
Sepanjang kareer, saya sentiasa berusaha untuk mendalamai ilmu ultrasound dan saya cuba untuk stay up to date sama ada dari segi klinikal ataupun teknologi.
Selain dari pengetahuan klinikal dan kemampuan teknikal, bagi saya ilmu komunikasi juga sangat penting. Saya bersyukur kerana telah mempelajari banyak kemahiran komunikasi semasa berinteraksi dengan latar belakang pesakit yang pelbagai.
Latar belakang akademik saya ialah Bachelor of Science (Health Physics), UTM dan Post-Graduate Diploma in Ultrasound in Medicine, ASUM. Saya juga adalah bekas ahli Board of Examiner untuk Program DMU (Asia). Selain itu, saya ahli Australian Society of Ultrasound in Medecine, Asutralia dan juga International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics & Gynecology .

- Responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations for obstetric (1st, 2nd and 3rd trimester scan), female pelvis (transabdominally and transvaginally) and breast.
- Performing nuchal translucency thickness measurement in 1st trimester scans
- Occasionally receive female and male patients for upper abdomen, renal and thyroid scans.
- Performing 3D4D5D obstetrics surface rendering scan.
- Carrying out follicular tracking and sonohysterography procedures.
- Providing written reports for all diagnostic ultrasound examinations.
- Responsible for organizing all scan records and documentations.

- Responsible for performing quality sonographic studies mainly for obstetric (1st, 2nd and 3rd trimester scan), female pelvis (transabdominally and transvaginally) and breast.
- Performing nuchal translucency thickness measurement in 1st trimester scan and ductus venosus Doppler study in high risk pregnancies.
- Performing upper abdomen, renal and thyroid scans for male and female.
- Assisting ultrasound guided amniocentesis procedures

- Performing general ultrasound in Radiology Department, Klang General Hospital under the supervision of Radiologists
- Performing general and obstetric ultrasound at Poliklinik Shah Alam and Klinik Ibu & Kanak-kanak Petaling Jaya under the supervision of a qualified sonographer
- Having hands-on training for general, obstetric, small parts and vascular ultrasound in Vision College on daily basis under the supervision of a qualified sonographer from Australian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine.
